Intuitive Business Intelligence announces that its Managing Director, Tony Bray, has been elected to the General Council of BASDA (Business Application Software Developer’s Association).
BASDA is the leading independent membership organisation for business application software authors and partners. Bray was overwhelmingly voted onto the General Council at BASDA’s annual conference and AGM on 17 May 2011 and will serve as an elected council member for three years.
The General Council acts as the governing body for BASDA which comprises a group of twelve elected representatives from member companies. The BASDA General Council is responsible for influencing the future direction and development of the association and meets on a quarterly basis to consider all matters of policy relating to its members.
Tony Bray commented, "It is a great privilege to be elected as a member of BASDA's General Council. I look forward to being actively involved in BASDA, and helping to determine the association's direction and policy for the benefit of business software developers worldwide. Intuitive Business Intelligence is a rapidly-expanding software company globally and in the UK, so it is very important that we are represented on the General Council.”
Kevin Hart, Chair of the BASDA General Council added, “We are delighted to welcome Tony to the BASDA General Council. Our members look for a number of key attributes in their elected Council members - particularly industry expertise, commercial credentials, the ability to influence and commitment. Tony’s in-depth knowledge of the software industry and extensive track record in growing highly-successful software businesses, along with his drive and enthusiasm, make him a great asset to the General Council.”
