After unprecedented year-on-year growth, Greater Manchester Business Week interviews Intuitive Business Intelligence Sales Director, Roger Stocker, on international expansion and the company's plans for the future.
An IT software company is pushing ahead with its international expansion with office opening in the Middle East and South Africa. Manchester-based Intuitive Business Intelligence has created the Intuitive Dashboards software, which collates company data and presents users with relevant information in a visually engaging, interactive dashboard format.
The firm this month has opened offices in Dubai to cater for the Middle Eastern market and is expanding operations into Africa with the launch of a regional branch in South Africa.
Roger Stocker, Sales Director at Intuitive Business Intelligence, which is headquartered on Deansgate and also has an office in Florida, USA, said emerging markets were providing the firm with further growth opportunities.
Over the next 18 months, the business plans to establish a footprint in the majority of English speaking countries in Africa, with plans to open more offices in the Middle East, as well as expanding further afield to the Far East and Australia.
He said,"Both regions are experiencing growth and organisations are looking for affordable solutions, which meet the complex needs of their businesses.
"In Africa we are seeing a demand from businesses in mining and construction industries, who want an easy-to-use dashboard, which can provide accurate, real-time performance insight, in order to make important business decisions.
"The opening of our regional office in South Africa will enable us to respond to these requirements by offering a solution which is fast-to-implement and which can provide instant, interactive access to critical data, empowering users to streamline their operations.
"Dubai is undergoing a digital revolution, with public and private sector organisations now demanding state-of-the-art business intelligence software. We have invested heavily in a full Arabic conversion of Intuitive Dashboards, to ensure a complete and accurate Arabic user interface and experience."
Intuitive Business Intelligence was launched in 2009 by Mr Stocker, Managing Director Tony Bray and Technical Director, Edward Smith. It employs 32 people, with plans to double staff numbers in the next 12 months.
Clients in the UK include The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust, Morson Group, Nottingham Trent University, Bernicia Group, Mill Asset Management Group and HefmA.
Mr Stocker said, "When we first designed the software we aimed to create a programme which was flexible and easy to configurate. That is now paying off for us as businesses anywhere in the world can use it. As a result we have seen exceptional growth since we launched four years ago, and it continues to grow year on year."
