YABA may be best known for matching entrepreneurs with investors. What’s less common knowledge is the power of the Association in bringing together angel members in new business ventures.
Intuitive Business Intelligence Ltd is a prime example of this. The company was started by YABA members Tony Bray and Roger Stocker and evolved from an initial discussion at an investment forum in 2009. Tony and Roger had previously been in competition, each owning highly successful document management software companies. They met regularly at prestigious awards ceremonies and sold their respective companies within a few weeks of one another in 2007.
Intuitive Business Intelligence announces a reseller partnership with Cloud2, a leading SharePoint and business intelligence solutions provider to the NHS and healthcare sectors.
The partnership allows Cloud2 clients to benefit from the advanced capabilities of Intuitive Dashboards, which empowers users to create a highly-interactive, graphical real-time dashboard view of management data, based upon the metrics and KPIs that matter most to the user.
Greg Wright, Deputy Business Editor of The Yorkshire Post, interviews Roger Stocker, Director of Intuitive Business Intelligence about the company's growth plans.
A firm founded by two IT entrepreneurs aims to grow by helping medical staff manage their resources more efficiently by using a dashboard. Intuitive Business Intelligence Ltd, which is based in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire, has devised the intuitive dashboard, which will identify the root cause of problems that are holding a business back. The dashboard, which resembles the dashboard of a car or aircraft, helps managers keep track of debtors, creditors and cashflow. The company has got 18 staff and the inaugural turnover is expected to be between £750,000 and £1m.
